What is BRIANS NEWS?

I started BRIANS NEWS in 2020 as a simple weekly PowerPoint presentation to present my weekend news to my peers, but it has since evolved to become a polished, user-friendly and interactive way of keeping up-to-date with my life and what I do.

How did you make this website?

In December 2021, I created the first ever prototype of what we now know as briansnews.com.

It was very rudimentary, featuring information about BRIANS NEWS and a “song of the week” in the sidebar. There was no way to read any news at that point.

Fun fact: the song of the week was “Face Off” by Tech N9ne. I have no idea why.

At one point in early 2022, there was even plans for a BRIANS NEWS streaming service, called “BRIANS NEWS Max”.
This idea never got past the prototype stage, but an early concept of the website was made. This has since been lost to time.

Throughout the next few years, the website would go through many design iterations. I moved it to WordPress for easier customisation and uploading of content.
