Last week, I was off sick with COVID. I stayed at home and got better over the course of the week.

The weekend before, I was at my Nana’s 70th birthday party with my mother, father, brother and his girlfriend. My cousins, family and family friends were there.

We ordered Chinese for everyone and some others had chipper. My brother and his girlfriend ate theirs sitting on the floor since there were no more chairs left for them.

Afterwards, we cut the cake. I had to have a cake to myself due to my allergies.
A word of advice, don’t buy a gluten-free chocolate cake from Tesco if you like your cake moist. What’s the deal with gluten-free baked goods being so dry? Surely there’s a way to make it more moist than whatever the heck they’re doing at the moment.
